Power Pleater Motor Drive for Amanda, Pullen, Stanley and some Read Smocking Pleater Machines without the large base extension underneath .

Provides the operator with an extra hand to turn to guide the fabric. You have to redrill 4 holes in motor platform base to line up with screws in bottom of pleater if they do not match. Can be adapted for use with the Stanley or Amanda-Jane 24-row machines and with thge 16-row Read or Pullen pleaters (not Amanda 16 row). Fits most smocking pleaters except Dr. Joe, Read 32 or pleaters without winged knobs to attach the sliding drive jig. Winged knobs may be available for some pleaters with round turn knobs. Quickly pleat your favorite projects easily with the help of a electric motor drive unit with foot control which frees up your hands to feed the fabric uniformly. Comes complete with the foot pedal for smooth operation. Driver fits over turn handle on your pleater and is retractable when not in operation. Works best at very slow speeds - one pleat at a time.
